Massage Techniques Offered
Myofascial release uses kinesiology and anatomy basepoints to work with the body’s web of fascia to promote a feeling of unhindered awareness. Especially helpful in range of motion and entrapment issues, scar tissue breakup, and repetitive stress tension.
A body contouring technique, Lypossage targets specific areas of the body to diminish cellulite, reduce wrinkles, and promotes self-confidence. This technique uses deep lymphatic drainage and lighter myofascial techniques to drain the body of unwanted toxins.
That an athlete’s body is subject to tremendous amounts of pressure through training and recovery is an important, although often underestimated, aspect of fitness. Certain stretching and massage techniques may significantly shorten necessary rehabilitation times.
Using a combination of Swedish, stretching, and connective tissue therapy, therapeutic relaxation massage is helpful for stress relief and an overall feeling of well-being.
A side-laying modality, pregnancy massage allows the expecting mother a comfortable time to rejuvenate and focus on healing and building life. Especially helpful as pregnancy can add strain to joints and soft tissue, impede circulation, and amplify stress.
